Biography
After his Second World War naval service he graduated from McGill Univiversity Montreal with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) ) in 1949. In 1967 he joined the Ontario Treasury Board. In 1974 he joined the Ontario Housing Ministry.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Canadidate UNTD) RCNVR in 1945. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate) RCN(R) 1946. In 1946-1949 he served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD. In 1949 he served in HMS Sheffield for Sea Training. (Transferred to RCN) He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 29/12/1948). In 1949 he served in HMCS Stadacona. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1949). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 15/01/1949). He served in HMCS Cornwallis, He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 15/01/1957). He served in NHQ as Deputy Director of Naval Communications (Electronic Warfare and Radio Section) 1959. He served in HMCS Lanark (In command) 1964. He served in HMCS Cap de la Madeleine (In command) 1965. (He was released.) (He was qualified for communications duties.)
