Biography
After his naval service he received a degree in forestry and worked in northern Ontario 1950-54. He ran a home building business in Toronto 1954-71.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c RNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1942). He served in H.M.S. Melani for Sea Training 1942. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for Pilot Course #41 in 1942. He was appointed as an A/Leading Airman RNVR 1942. He served in USNAS Grosse Ile for Pilot Training 1942. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Pilot Training 1943. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 01/09/1943. He served in USNAS Miami for Flying Training 1943. He served in USNAS Ft. Lauderdale for Operational Training 1943. He served in USNAS Squantum for 853 RN Squadron 1943. RCAF Sea Island for H.M.S. Arbiter 1943. He served in RNAS Machrihanish 1944. He served in RNAS Maydown for Anti-Submarine Training 1944. He served in H.M.S. Tracker for 853 RN Squadron (Murmansk Anti-Submarine Patrols) 1945. He served in RNAS Hatston for Anti-Submarine and Mine Layer Training 1944. He served in H.M.S. Queen for 853 Squadron (Scapa Flow and Norwegian Coastal Raids) 1945. He served in H.M.S. Golden Hind 1945. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 01/01/1946. (He was demobilized 03/05/1946.)
