Biography
After his naval service he joined the Canada Department of Transport.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a AC/2 RCAF (With seniority dated 04/1943). He served in RCAF Yorkton SK for Flying Training 1944. He was Awarded Wings 17/11/1944. (Transferred to RNVR 04/1945). He served in H.M.S. Seaborn 1945, RN College Greenwich, RAF Ternhill for #5 AFU (P). He served in RNAS Arbroath for 883 RN Squadron, Demobilized, (Short Service Appointment 03/06/1949), He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/06/1949). He served in RCAF Trenton for Refresher Flying Course 1949, RCNAS Dartmouth. He served in RNAS Lossiemouth for 766 RN Squadron 1950. He served in RNAS Eginton for 737 RN Squadron. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for Deck Landing Qualification. He served in HMCS Magnificent for 826 Squadron. (He resigned 01/07/1951.)
