Biography
He studied at Victoria College, UBC, Cambridge University, and Memorial University in Newfoundland where he received his PhD. He returned to the west coast and eventually to Victoria in the mid 1970s. He was an accomplished magician and actor. He taught at Royal Roads.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Instructor Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1957). He served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD 1956-1958. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/09/1955). (He was released.)
