Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #37 Pilot Training Course. He served in #14 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in #31 Service Flying Training School. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for 897 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Henstridge for 897 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 897 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Dundonald for 897 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for 897 RN Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Ravager as Deck Landing Control Officer 1944. He served in H.M.S. Vindex as Deck Landing Control Officer 1944. He served in H.M.S. Glorious as Deck Landing Control Officer 1945. (He was demobilized.)
