Anecdotes
Bill Clearihue reports: "His father was a Prof at U of T and was rounded up and detained for a while during the Italian Internments here in the early 40s. He had been flagged as a Facist sympathizer. Both Ernie and his older brother Alfred (died in 1999) have done quite well and have given back to the academic communities, both in California and Toronto."
