Biography
He was born in Edmonton AB, and raised mainly in Hamilton ON. In 2015 he reported himself to the Nauticapedia as being "alive and reasonably well in the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton, NB."
 
Military Service
From pril 1941 to May 1942 he served with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. (Transferred to RCNVR) In 1942 he served in HMCS Star. In 1942 he served in HMCS Wetaskiwin. In 1942 he served in HMCS Kings for Officer Training. (CFR) He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 25/05/1942). In 1943 he served in HMCS Stadacona. In 1943 he served in HMCS Niobe. In 1943 he served in HMS Condor. He served in RNAS Arbroath for Observer Training. He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 15/01/1944). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR (Appointed 25/11/1943) (With seniority dated 25/05/1943). In 1944 he served in HMS Nightjar. He served in H.M.S. Vindex for 811 Squadron 1944. In 1944 he served in HMS Shrike. He served in H.M.S. Mairama for 830 Squadron 1944. He served in RAF Thorney Island for 835 Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Drem for 1792 RN Squadron 1945. In 1945 he served in HMS Highthawk. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 767 RN Squadron 1945. In 1945 he served in HMS Daedalus. (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RCN (With seniority dated 25/11/1943). He served in HMCS Stadacona. In 1946 he served in HMCS Warrior. He served in RCN Barracks Halifax for RCN Air Section (Dartmouth) for Duty in No.1 Training Air Group as Senior Officer in 743 Squadron 1948. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (O) RCN (With seniority dated 25/11/1951). He served in HMCS Iroquois (Korean War Service) 1952. He served in HMCS Micmac as Executive Officer 1954). He served in NHQ on Staff of Deputy Director of Naval Plans and Operations as Staff Officer (Strategy and Plans) 1956. He served in HMCS La Hulloise (In command 1961-1962. (He was released 1968.)
