In 1912 he served in the Dominion Wireless Service as a W/T Operator. (He is thought by Frank Statham to have served previously with the British General Post Office.) In 1922 he served at Dead Tree Point Radio Station. In 1923 he served in Winnipeg MB as W/T Operator. In 1925 he served in Winnipeg MB at District Office of the Canada Department of Transport as District Superintendent Radio. (He retired on 17/10/1950). |

He was appointed as a Wireless Telegraph Operator (Second Class) RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916). In 1916-1918 he served in HMCS Rainbow for Wireless Telegraph Duty (West Coast) at Digby Island Radio Station. (He was demobilized.) |
