Anecdotes
My last posting in the UNTD was at Esquimalt RCN Base where I worked in the chemistry laboratory on anti-fouling paint to be used on the (at that time) experimental hydrofoil moored at Halifax. I had cruises to Iceland ( 1961) and Ireland/Britain ( 1962) - HMCS Outremont and HMCS Buckingham. At HMCS Cornwallis I was a Leading Cadet ( 1961-62) and later at HMCS Brunswicker a Cadet Captain ( 1963-1964).
