Biography
He served in the Dominion Wireless Service as a W/T Operator. In 1917 he served at Traingle Island Radio Station. In 1927 he served at Cape Lazo Radio Station. He served at Point Grey W/T Station.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Wireless Telegraph Operator (4th Class) RNCVR (With seniority dated 15/01/1917). In 1917-1918 he served in HMCS Rainbow as Additional for Duty at Cape Lazo (Wireless Telegraph Station). (He was demobilized.)

Anecdotes
Frank Statham states that "Hwas the operator on duty at Triangle Island when the last message from the foundering FPV "Galiano" was received. Vessel vanished with all hands in November 1918 on a trip from Triangle Island Wireless to Ikeda Wireless Station.)
