Biography
Following graduation in 1954, he served as Senior Advisory Counsel to the Department of Justice in Ottawa and also as legal advisor to the Department of Trades and Commerce and the Board of Grain Commissioners. He returned to Winnipeg and entered private practice with the firm of Swift, McLeod, Deacon, Kirby and Gregory.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 15/01/1950). He served in HMCS Chippawa for UNTD 1949-1951. (He was released.)

Named Features	Gilbert T. Gregory Memorial Prize (University of Manitoba Law School) As a memorial tribute, his friends and colleagues established the Gilbert T. Gregory Memorial Prize which is awarded to the student who attains the highest standing in Personal Property.
