Biography

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Cadet RNR. In 1925-28 he attended HMS Conway (Merchant Navy training establishment). He served with the RN. He served in a Swordfish during the first wave of the raid on the Italian fleet at Taranto Italy in 1940. He was loaned by the RN to the RCN in 1946 for HMCS Warrior. (He was released.)
