Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman RN (With seniority dated 24/06/1943). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for Training 1943. He served in RCAF St. Eugene for Elementary Flying Training School. He was appointed as a A/Leading Airman RN. He served in RCAF Kingston for Service Flying Training School. He was awarded the Pilot's Flying Badge 01/11/1944. He was appointed as a Petty Officer Airman RN. He served in RNAS Bootle for Night Flying Course 1944. He served in RNAS Tealing for AFU. He served in RNAS Hinstock for Instrument Flying Course. He served in RNAS Crimond for TBR Conversion Course. (He was released 12/09/1946.)
