Biography
He graduated from Westville High School in 1945. He worked a year in the Coal Mine and then went on to graduate from St Francis Xavier University, Antigonish N.S. in 1950. Prior to retirement in 1986 he worked as a geologist in the mining industry across Canada.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. In 1948-1950 he served in HMCS Scotian for UNTD. He was appointed as an A/Sub-lieutenant RCN(R) 1950. (He was released.)
