Biography
After his naval service he flew spruce budworm spraying campaigns 1957-1961. He worked on flight control engineering for CF-104. He was a project pilot engineer at Flight Research Lab, National Research Council 1971.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (Air) (UNTD) RCN(R) 1951. In 1951 he served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD. He served in HMCS Antigonish for Sea Training. He served in HMCS Beacon Hill for Sea Training. He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1954. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN (R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1954). He served in RCAF Trenton for Flying Training. He served in RCAF Claresholme for Flying Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN(R). He served in VC-922 Squadron. He served in HMCS Magnificent for Carrier Qualification 1956. He was appointed as a A/Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1956). He served in VC-920 Squadron 1956. He served in VX-10 Squadron as Project Pilot 1958. (He was retired 1961.)
