Biography
(He is thought by Frank Statham to have served previously with the British General Post Office.) Frank Statham states that "He came to Canada in 1909. He served in the Dominion Wireless Service as a W/T Operator in 1909. In 1909 he served in Gonzales Radio Station as Assistant W/T Operator. In 1910 he served at Cape Lazo Radio Station as Assistant W/T Operator. In 1911 he served at Digby Island Radio Station as W/T Operator. In 1912-1914 he served at Ikeda Head and Triangle Island Radio Stations. In 1914 he moved to Vancouver Radio Station. He served at Alert Bay Radio Station. In 1923 he was OIC at Vancouver Radio Station. In 1923-1924 he was an Operator at Cape Lazo Radio Station. In 1930 he became a radio inspector in Vancouver. He ended his 39 year career as a Senior Radio Inspector for British Columbia, based in Vancouver."
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Second Class Wireless Telegraph Operator (RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916). In 1916-1918 he served in HMCS Rainbow for Wireless Telegraph Duty (West Coast) at Estevan Radio Station. (He was demobilized.)
