Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 16/09/1914). He served in HMCS Shearwater II (No. 4 Company RNCVR) 1914). He served in HMCS Rainbow 1917. (His appointment was terminated 18/01/1915.) (Note: he was still carried on the Navy List in 1918).
