Military Service

He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R). (Short Service Appointment 26/05/1949). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 26/05/1949). He served in HMCS York as Additional For Pilot Training 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater for No.1 TAG 1949. He served with the RN 1950. He served in HMCS Shearwater 1951. He served in HMCS Shearwater for School Relations 1953. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Assistant Executive Officer 1954. (He was transferred to the RCN(R) on Retired List 1954).
