Biography
He attended the University of Saskatchewan to pursue a Commerce Degree after having received the Navy League of Canada scholarship. He maintained his Navy ties and was the Vice-President of the Naval Officers Association of Calgary AB. He received his CA designation in 1967 and launched his career with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte & Touche) at that time. Over the course of his tenure with Deloitte & Touche, he became the Regional Partner for the Prairies. He was CEO of the Alberta Wheat Pool and the President and CEO of Agri-Partners International. Later in his career he founded Equity Partners International. He was Venue Chairman for security and transportation for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1958. He served in HMCS Unicorn for UNTD 1958. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 20/10/1964). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R). (He was released.)
