Biography
He attended the University of Victoria and received his Medical Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1955. In 1962, he received his FRCPSC specialist in General Pathology. He was a Pathologist at the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton; Director of Laboratories, Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie; and Chief of Laboratory Medicine, Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 21/01/1949). In 1948-1940 he served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD. He served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD 1948-1951. He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/04/1951). He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R). (He was released 1965.)
