He attended the University of Victoria and received his Medical Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1955. In 1962, he received his FRCPSC specialist in General Pathology. He was a Pathologist at the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton; Director of Laboratories, Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie; and Chief of Laboratory Medicine, Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga. |

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 21/01/1949). In 1948-1940 he served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD. He served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD 1948-1951. He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/04/1951). He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R). (He was released 1965.) |
