Biography
After his naval service he went into real estate first in sales and then in management.
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment 01/01/1952). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1952). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for #2 Junior Air Officer Basic Training Course 1952. He served in HMCS Ontario for Sea Training 1952. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 08/03/1953). He served in NHQ For Special Duty on Flying Course at RCAF Station Centralia 1953. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 08/03/1953). He served in RNAS Culdrose for OUT. He served in RNAS Eglinton. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for Deck Landing Qualification. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Magnificent for VS-880 1954. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 23/09/1955). He served in CFB St. Hubert for Mobile Command HQ in 10 Tactical Air Group as Senior Staff Officer Operations and Training 1970. He served in CFB Uplands for 450 Squadron as Commanding Officer 1972. He was appointed as a Colonel (PLT) (With seniority dated 01/01/1975). He served in CFHQ as Director of Individual Training 1975. (He resigned 01/01/1979.)
