Biography
He grew up in Montreal and was a graduate of Lakefield College School and Acadia University. He went on to earn his law degree at Dalhousie University and resided in Edmonton, Alberta for 40 years where he practiced law with his long time friend Howard Starkman Q.C. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1978.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1951. In 1951-1954 he served in HMCS Scotian for UNTD (Acadia). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1954). In 1954 he served in HMCS Scotian. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1956). (He was released.)
