graduated with a B Phys Ed from UofT in the Spring of '52, with a home address of Victoria, BC. He taught school in Victoria BC. He was the brother of Flight-Lieutenant Carl Hinch RCAF(R). |

It was in 1940, also at UofT when he graduated from the RCAF-run wartime Aerial Navigation Course, the Pilot Qual must have come later. (He had Second World War service in the RCAF.) (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as an Instructor Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 16/01/1950). He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1949-1951. He was appointed as an A/Instructor Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as an Instructor Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1953). In 1953 he served in HMCS Malahat. (He was released.) (He was qualified as an Air Navigator and Pilot). |
