Biography
He worked in mining prior to World War Two. After his naval service he flew with Central Northern Airways, Transair, Pacific Western Airlines and Canadian Airlines. Retired 1980. Afterwards flew with Swift Air Cargo, Nationair and Québecair, retiring again 1990.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF (With seniority dated 01/08/1941). He served in RCAF Brandon for #2 Manning Depot 1941. He served in #7 ITS. He served in #19 EFTS. He served in #17 SFTS. He was Awarded Wings. (CFR). He served in the Commonwealth Air Training Plan as Staff Pilot. He served in H.M.S. Seaborn. He served in RNAS Peregrine. (Transferred to RNVR 01/04/1945). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Macaw. He served in RNAS Errol. He served in RNAS Tealing. He served in RNAS Atcham. He served in RNAS Hinstock. He served in H.M.S. Macaw. He served in RNAS Maydown. He served in RNAS Eglinton. (He was demobilized 03/01/1946.)
