Biography
After his naval service he worked as a medical doctor. He was qualified as a medical doctor after demobilization, graduating from McGill Medical School as MD 1955. FRCP (Pediatrics) 1961. He was the Professor Emeritus in Neurology and Pediatrics at the University of Western Ontario.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #44 Pilot Course. He served in USNAS Grosse Ile for Flight Training. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Flight Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in USNAS Lewiston ME USA for 738 (Avenger) RN Squadron 1944, NAIFS for 758 (Oxford) RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Inskip for 763 RN (Avenger) Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Indefatiguable for 820 (Avenger) RN Squadron 1944-46, Demobilized, (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in HMCS Shearwater for #2 FS 1947-9. (He was released.)
