Biography

 

Military Service

(Short Service Appointment 01/10/1951). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/10/1951). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Courses 1951. He served in HMCS Ontario for Sea Training 1952. He served in HMCS Shearwater for No.2 Observer Course 1953, RN for Service 1954. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/10/1951). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1954. (He was killed in an Avenger crash at sea south of Yarmouth NS 06/05/1954.)
