Biography
After his naval service he worked on the building of the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney NS.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1942). He served in Royal Roads (RCNC) 1942. He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN (With seniority dated 15/08/1943). He served in H.M.S. Belfast for Training (Bismark Action) 1943. He served in H.M.S. Kent for Training. He served in H.M.S. Cavalier for Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN (With seniority dated 15/04/1945). He served in HMCS Micmac 1945. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN (With seniority dated 15/07/1945). He served in H.M.S. Daedalus for 771 RN Squadron 1947. He transferred to the Electrical Branch after flying accident at HMCS Shearwater 1948. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 803 Squadron 1949. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) (P) RCN (With seniority dated 15/07/1953). He served in HMCS Shearwater as Deputy Electrical Officer 1955. He served in HMCS St. Laurent as Electrical Officer. He was appointed as a Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1960). He served in NHQ 1960. He served in HMCS Naden for HMC Dockyard on Staff of Commodore Superintendent Pacific. He served in NDHQ as Executive Assistant to ADM (Materiel) 1974. (He retired in 1975.)
