Biography
He was a salesman before the First World War. He trained at Curtiss, Toronto ON 03/08/1915-31/10/1915. He sailed from Canada on the Cassandra from Montreal PQ on 22/11/1915.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 1915). He was under training at Eastbourne on 13/12/1915 and at Dover on 10/01/1916. He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS. He was transferred to No.6 Squadron at Docer on 28/02/1916. He was attached to 1 Wing RNAS 1916. On 10/04/1916 he was attached to No.8 Flight, No.2 Squadron in No.5 Aeroplane Wing RNAS. He was reported as "sick" on 26/04/1916.
