Biography
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner (Passenger coastal) #12415.) In 1938-1945 served in the Princess Maquinna as First Officer. He served in the Maquinna as Relief Master. (He was qualified as a BC Coast Pilot.) In 1955 he piloted the stricken freighter Makedonia while en-route to Vancouver. He was the Chairman of the Board British Columbia Coast Pilots 1959-1960.
