Biography
After his naval service he studied Architecture at University of Manitoba. Afterwards he worked with Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation Prairie Region as Assistant Regional Supervisor (Construction) 1948-55. Joined Smith Carter Architects & Engineers 1955-70.General Manager Procon Construction Management Ltd. Department of Public Works Canada in Winnipeg as Project Manager 1974-87. Retired 06/1974.

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR 1941. He served in HMCS Chippawa 1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 08/04/1942). He served in HMCS Chippawa 1942. He served in HMCS Kings (Officer Training Establishment) 1942. He served in HMCS Stadacona as Additional for service in HMC ML-076 1943. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 09/11/1942). He served in HMC ML-076 as Executive Officer 1943. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 15/01/1944) (With seniority dated 09/11/1943). He served in HMCS Venture for HMC ML-057 (In command) 1943. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Passage to UK 1944. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #72 RN Observer Course 1944. He served in H.M.S. Goshawk (Piarco Trinidad) for Observer Training 1944, Awarded Observer's Flying Badge 01/03/1945. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 09/11/1943). He reverted to General Service due to High Frequency Deafness 1945. (He was demobilized on 26/07/1945)
