Biography
After his naval service he attended Royal Agricultural College 1947. Worked at Defence Research Board Northern laboratory Fort Churchill MB 1949-51. National Research Council of Canada Ottawa in Communications Branch 1951-67. He was a Freelance Translator of Russian and French scientific literature 1967-85.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #46 Pilot Training Course 1942. He served in #24 Elementary Flying Training School 1943. He served in RCAF Kingston for #31 Service Flying Training School 1943. He served in RAF Errol for 9(P) Advanced Flying Unit 1944. He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 792 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Ayr for 772 Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Bankstown for Familiarization Course 1945. He served in H.M.S. Nabaron as Maintenance Test Pilot 1945. He served in RNAS Nowra (Australia) for 733 RN Squadron 1945. (He was demobilized.)
