After his naval service he joined Bell Canada. He worked with Northern Electric and Bell Northern Research. He became a private consultant to retirement in Toronto ON in 1983. |

He was appointed as an Electrical Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1943). He undertook three months intensive training at the University of Toronto Physics Department and HMCS Cornwallis in radar theory 1943. He served On loan to RN FAA as Air Radio Officer. He served in H.M.S. Ariel for Avionics Maintenance Course. He served in H.M.S. Emperor 1944. Electrical Lieutenant (R) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1944). He served in H.M.S. Ringtail for 1790 (RN) Squadron. He served in H.M.S. Puncher for 1790 (RN) Squadron as Air Engineer Officer 1944. He served in H.M.S. Vindex for 1790 (RN) Squadron. He served in RNAS Schofields for 1790 RN Squadron 1945-6. He served in H.M.S. Implacable 1946. (He was demobilized 01/10/1946.) |
