He served in the Dominion Wireless Service as a W/T Operator. In 1930 he served in Vancouver BC as a Radio Interference Trouble Shooter.

He was appointed as a Wireless Telegraph Operator (3rd Class) RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1917). (He was demobilized.)
