Biography
He earned an MD at the University of Toronto 1956. He was a leading Orthopaedic Surgeon and knee surgery pioneer. He was the Team Doctor for the Canadian Olympic Team in 1964 and the Team Physician for the Toronto Argonauts from 1976 - 1991. In 1967 he founded the Wheelchair Sports Association of Canada, a precursor to the Canadian Paralympic Team.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 09/01/1951). In 19501-1951 he served in HMCS York for UNTD. He was appointed as a Surgeon Cadet (UNTD) (RCN(R)) (With seniority dated 09/0/1/1951). He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1951-1954. In 1954 he was serving on the Retired list of the UNTD. He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCN(R) (Retired list) (With seniority dated 01/06/1955). In 1955 he served in HMCS York. (He was released.)
