Biography
He attended McGill University. He spent two years in Department of Veterans Affairs health care unit. Attended McGill University to study engineering. He was Plant Engineer for Torrington Co. Ltd. at Bedford PQ. He was made Technical Sales Director 1956. He was promoted to Managing Director for Torrington Sales International in Brussels Belgium in 1980.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR (With seniority dated 29/07/1940). He served in HMCS Montcalm for Training 1940. He was appointed to H.M.S. Raleigh (Officer Training Establishment) (Mess 27 Collingwood) in 1940. He served in H.M.S. King Alfred (Officer Training Establishment). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #46 Observer's Course. He served in H.M.S. Goshawk (Piarco Trinidad) for Observer Training 1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority backdated to 31/12/1940). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 31/12/1942) (Later backdated to 1941). He served in RNAS Gibraltar for 813 RN (Swordfish/Albacore) Squadron 1942. He served in H.M.S. Eagle for 813 (Swordfish/Albacore) Squadron 1942. He served in RNAS Malta for 828 (Swordfish/Albacore) Squadron 1942. He served in RAF Syerston for 106 RAF Squadron (Lancaster) 1943. He served in RNAS Hawkinge for 854 (Avenger) Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Thorney Island for 854 (Avenger) Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Activity for 854 (Avenger) Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for 854 (Avenger) Squadron 1944-45. He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant-Commander (O) (Temp.) (WHA) RCNVR (With seniority dated 15/02/1945). (He served with the Royal Navy in the Far East.) In 1945 he served in NSHQ for Air Staff. (He was demobilized 01/02/1946.)
