Biography
After his naval service he was the Director of Honours (Rideau Hall) 1988-90. He was the Director of Resource Management, Research Branch DND 1990-93. He worked with Transport Canada Road Safety in 1993.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Naval Cadet RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1959. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1964). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1964). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 04/07/1966). He served as Recruiting Officer 1966-1968. He served as Navigator 1968-72. He served in CFB Summerside for 415 Squadron 1969, International Commission for Control and Supervision Viet Nam 1973. He served in NDHQ as Staff Officer Maritime Plans, Operations and Reserves 1973-75. He served as Equerry to HRH the Prince of Wales 1977. He served in Royal Roads Military College as Academic Instructor 1978. He served as AdC to Governor General 1980. He served as Deputy Director Chancellery of Canadian Orders and Decorations (Rideau Hall) 1982. He was appointed as a MAJ (ANAV) 1984. (He was retired 1985.)
