Biography
At the time of his enlistment he was working for an accountant in Calgary AB.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/07/1940). He served in HMCS Stadacona 1940. He served in H.M.S. Raleigh (Officer Training Establishment) 1940. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #23 Pilot Training Course 1941. He served in RAF Luton for #14 Elementary Flying Training School, Leading Naval Airman RCNVR. He served in Kingston ON for #31 Service Flying Training School. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (Seniority dated 31/12/1941). He served in H.M.S. Kestrel for 757 RN Squadron 1942. He served in H.M.S. Heron for Fighter Course 1942.

He was killed in a flying accident on a training flight at Yeovilton 22/05/1942 when his plane flew into ground near Porton Railway Station during a simulated attack on ground targets.
