Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in #13 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in #31 Service Flying Training School. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 24/05/1944). He served in RNAS Yeovilton for 759 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Ayr for 768 Squadron for Deck Landing Training 1945. (He was demobilized.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
