Biography

 

Military Service

(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 09/08/1951). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Junior Air Officer Basic Training Course 1951. He served in HMCS Ontario for Sea Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 28/11/1952). He served in HMCS Shearwater for #2 Observer Course 1953. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/10/1953). He served with the Royal Navy for training 1953. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1954. (He was killed in a flying accident 06/05/1954.)
