Biography
He was a marine fireman at the time of his recruitment into the navy. His next-of-kin, was his mother, Mrs. Emily Kaneen, 19 Derby Road, Douglas, Isle of Man UK.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Stoker RNCVR. He was appointed as a Leading Stoker RNCVR. He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
