After his naval service he worked with General Motors concludings as National Sales Manager with GM Diesel.

(Transferred to RNVR 01/01/1945). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 01/01/1945). He served in RNAS Yeovilton. He served in RNAS Henstich. He served in RNAS Zeals. He served in RNAS Eglinton. He served in RAF Errol for Instrument and Night Flying Course. (He was released.) (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 08/10/1944). He served in HMCS Chippawa as Additional 1946. He served in HMCS Portage.
