Military Service
He was appointed as a Mate RNCVR (With seniority dated 12/07/1917). In 1918 he served in HMCS Stadacona (Auxiliary Patrol Ship). (He was demobilized.) (He was mobilized for Second World War service). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (RCNR) 1940. He served in HMCS Arras (In command) 1940. (He was demobilized.)
