Biography
After his naval service he emigrated to Canada and flew as a bush pilot for Spartan Air Services in Canada and Africa. 1957-88. After that he worked as an aviation consultant 1985-92 in Canada, Saudi Arabia and the Leeward Islands.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Leading Airman RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #21 Pilot Training Course. He served in RAF Luton for #24 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RAF Netheravon for #1 Service Flying Training School. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNVR, Sandbanks for 765 RN Squadron for Seaplane Course, Dundee for 751 RN Squadron. He served in H.M.S. Pegasus for 764 RN Squadron Advanced Seaplane Course 1942. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR, Beirut for #701 RN Squadron 1942. He served in RNAS Dekheila for 775 RN Squadron 1943. He served in RNAS Ayr for 772 RN Squadron 1944. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Trouncer for 1702 RN Squadron 1945, (Transferred to RN). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (A) RN. He served in RNAS Yeovilton for 700 Test Squadron 1947. He served in RNAS Ford for 762 RN Squadron 1947. He served in RNAS Culham for MTP 1947. He served in H.M.S. Glory (Korean War service) for 804 RN Squadron 1950,.RNAS Culdrose for 796 RN Squadron 1953. He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 796 RN Squadron 1954. He served in H.M.S. Bulwark as LSO 1955. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for 705 Helicopter Squadron 1956. He served in RNAS Ford for 705 Helicopter Squadron 1957. (He was released.)
