Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1951. In 1951 he served in HMCS Cataraqui for UNTD Royal Military College of Canada. (He was released.) (Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1955). He served in HMCS Star. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1955). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1956). He served in HMCS Naden for HMC Dockyard on Staff of Manager Electrical Engineering 1957. (He was released.)
