He emigrated to Canada in 1947. He worked in Halifax NS as a Registered Industrial Accountant in 1957.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c (Pilot Candidate) (With seniority dated 03/02/1941). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #24 Pilot Training Course. He served in RAF Luton for #24 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RAF Kingston for #31 Service Flying Training School (Course #22). Awarded wings 03/11/1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Midshipman (A) (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 03/11/1941). He served in RAF Yeovilton for OTU 1942. He served in H.M.S. Argus for Deck Landing Training 1942. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Indomitable for 899 RN (Seafire) Squadron 1943. He served in H.M.S. Hunter for 899 (Seafire) RN Squadron 1943. He served in H.M.S. Khedive for 899 (Seafire) Squadron 1943. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 06/12/1944. He served in RNAS Henstridge for 761 Squadron as Instructor in #2 Fighter School 1944. He served in RNAS Puttalam Ceylon for 757 NOTU 1945. He served in H.M.S. Colossus for 1846 (Corsair) Squadron as Senior Pilot 1945-6. He served in H.M.S. Colossus for 1846 Squadron 1946. (He was demobilized 01/05/1946.) (Transferred to RCNR 1953). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) 1953 (With seniority dated 06/12/1944). He served in HMCS Hunter 1953. (He was retired 1956.)
