Biography
He worked with MacMillan Bloedel Ltd. and Canadian Pacific Airlines in personnel management and industrial relations 1955-1959. He then was appointed as Associate Professor Faculty of Commerce at the University of Alberta 1959-1964. He worked 1964-1967 with Eatons Ltd and Bank of Nova Scotia. He was Associate Professor Faculty of Management Studies University of Toronto 1967-1970. He obtained a PhD degree from the University of Southampton in UK in 1970. He was a management consultant with Price Waterhouse 1970-1973. In 1973 founding director Greater Vancouver Mental Health Service. In 1977-1988. He was the Dean of Business at the BC Institute of Technology 1977-1988. He was a Professor 1988 in the Department of Business Administration Mount St. Vincent University. (He was retired 1993.)

He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1954). He served in VC-922 Squadron. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R). He served in HMCS Nonsuch as CO UNTD. He served in HMCS York . He served in H.M.S. Wessex. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (NR) 1969. He was appointed as a Commander (NR) 1972. (He was released.)
