Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNR. (Transferred to the RNCVR from the RNR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 16/09/1914). He served in HMCS Shearwater II (Lent to HMCS Rainbow) 1914. He served in HMCS Shearwater I 1916. He served in HMCS CC-2 (In command) 1917. He served in HMCS Lansdowne. (He died of pneumonia on 25/10/1918.) (He was qualified for Navigational Duties.)
