Biography
He attended McGill University.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (COTC McGill University). (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR. In 1944 he served in HMCS Prevost for Training. (CFR) He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 29/05/1943). He served in HMCS Cornwallis on Executive Officers' Course 1944. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/01/1945). In 1945 he served in HMCS Scotian. In 1945 he served in HMCS Niobe for HMS Heron. (He was demobilized 31/10/1945.)
