Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as an A/Trimmer (RNCVR). He served in HMS Victory for HMS Apley 1917. (He was killed when HMS Apley (hired trawler minesweeper) was sunk (blown up by a mine) in the English channel December 06, 1917.)
