He attended McGill University.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman (Second class) RN (With seniority dated 08/11/1943). (CFR) He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #63 Pilot Training Course, #13 Eelementary Flying Training School, #14 Service Flying Training School. He served in H.M.S. Merganser for 769 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Jackdaw for 711 RN Squadron 1945. (He was demobilized.)
